ClearText Tools provides small, free browser-based utilities for everyday writing, list cleanup, creator work and simple web tasks. The current site combines three workspaces, original articles and privacy-first processing.

Privacy is part of the design

Our tools process text in the browser on your device. Unless you choose to contact us, the text entered into a tool is not sent to or stored by us.

Our approach

We focus on practical, understandable tools and original guidance. Instead of hiding many unrelated tasks behind one vague interface, we keep linking related tools, tutorials and publishing workflows so visitors can move from one clear task to the next.

What the site is growing toward

The project is more than a tool index. It is a library of focused pages around practical tasks such as word counting, duplicate removal, JSON formatting, SEO writing and image compression. Each page should help a visitor understand the task as well as run the tool.

Editorial approach

Guides are written for a specific task and reviewed before publication. We aim to explain the decision behind a tool, show realistic use cases, and link only to pages that genuinely help with the next step. We update pages when a tool’s behaviour or a related browser standard changes.
